BMW M3 Turbo
Cllick here to see a video of this M3
Where do we begin? Cameron contacted us about two years ago to help him build a supercar. Cameron has owned 600WHP Supras and ther fast cars and wanted a little something different . He also wanted lots of power that could be utilized at the drag strip, taken to a road course or driven on a daily basis. When we says lots of power, we are talking about enough raw horsepower to make mere mortals cringe in disbelief. Ofcourse, power was not the only concern of Camerons. He also wanted the looks to go along with the power
and he also had to have a bumpin stereo system for his daily commute. So the game plan was made and the project was put inot motoion.the first thing that needed to be addressed was the engine that could handle the power. The choice was made to build an SFR spec, low compression, high revving 2.9L motor using JE pistons, Pauter rods,knike-edged crank, Ferrea 1mm over-size valvetrain, ported and polish cylinder head, ceramic coatings and some other secret stuff to allow this engine to live at 30psi+ of boost pressure.Once the engine was figured out it was time to iron out the rest of the supporting modifications
required to generate power and reliability. We started with the turbocharger and exhaust system. Cameron decided on a Precision Turbo 76GTS. Oh yea, a big dog turbo! The plan was to do a top mont turbo set-up so, we set out to build an SFR equal length, 321 stainless steel exhaust manifold with double slip fit merge collectors and a Newgen swing valve wastegate . The downpipe was plumbed into position and then we built a 3.5" 304SS exhaust system with a simple yet effective Magnaflow muffler.
The sound of this car is incredible.Once the turbo and exhaust was sort out,the intake side of the system needed to be addressed.3" mandrel bent aluminum tubing makes its way from the PT76GTS to the massive Spearco core based intercooler. From the intercooler the mandrel bent 3.5"piping runs to an Accufab 80mmTB and an SFR E36 intake manifold with billet fuel rail.Anyone that knows about turbocharging realizes that you cant have enough fuel so we decided on a Twin Walboro fuel system with 10-an stainless line that feeds the thirsty 1200cc injectors.

A Weldon fuel pressure regulator returns the fuel via an 8-an stainless line to an SFR fuel siphoning return system specifically designed for the E36. We also decided to build a custom raditor with aluinum coolant resiovor as well as a matching power steerign resivoir.Cameron upgraded the suspension to H&R coilovers and other billet pieces like adjustable camber arms, strut perches, poly bushings, solid mounts, fully built 2.9 differential,Driveshaft Shop driveshaft, and axles to cope with the power. A Stoptech big brake kit was on call to stop this machine from triple digit speeds. A Sias tuning plug and play TEC3 controls the EMS part of the equation. The widebody is what really sets this M3 apart from other M3's. Cameron wanted something unique so he used the E30 as his inspiration. The box rockers on the E30 blended well with the modren lines of the E36 to create Camerons masterpiece.
With a wide body comes the need for wide wheels and rubber. This M3 is equipped with 18" x 11.5" and 18" x 9.5" rims with BFG drag radials.

350Z/G35 Twin Plenum,Twin throttlebody Intake Manifold
Click here to see the video of the twin throttlebodies
The SFR twin-turbo 350Z which is owned by Turbotim , features the Speed Force Racing 60-1 twin-turbo system, SFR Dual 3" HKS Carbon Ti exhaust and the newest addition, the SFR twin plenum twin throttlebody intake manifold as well as various other SFR parts for the VQ35.
Improving upon the VQ35's performance has become the focus of Speed Force Racing for quite sometime. Now you can bolt this same twin turbo system onto your stock VQ35 motor, heads,cams,etc...and get an amazing, dyno proven, 476 horsepower at the wheels !
With the addition of this new twin plenum, and twin fly-by-wire throttlebodies, we feel as though our goal of 500WHP at 9-10 psi on 91 octane fuel is within reach. This specially designed intake manifold replaces the stock piece with a symetrically perfect manifold which features big plenums, long runners and velocity stacks. We also modified the intercooler from our base turbo system so that is has two outlets to feed each throttlebody
Throttle response has improved greatly with the use of twin throttlebodies. We also called upon twin Synapse BOV's to evacuate the charge air and proglong the life of the Turbonetics 60-1 hi-fi ceramic ball-bearing turbochargers. With the addition of a second throttlebody,we needed to relocate the power steering and coolant resivoir. This was the perfect time to relasee our new power steering, coolant and oil catch resivoir.
This new piece utilizes CNC billet o-ringed caps and a clever mounting bracket which utilizes stock mounting points. The tank features three separate sections which are TIG welded from the inside and pressure tested for leaks. These parts will be available very soon. So keep an eye out for them.
